Shannon DolanCo-Founder/Instructor
Shannon Hartle Dolan is from Des Moines, Iowa where she started her dance training at a very young age. Shannon graduated high school early to attend Joffrey Jazz and Contemporary Trainee Program in NYC before attending college. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, Minor in Communication Studies, and a Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship. During her time at UI, she worked with Monica Bill Barnes, Jennifer Kayle, Christopher Rasheem-McMillan, Eloy Barragan, Armando Duarte, and performed in many additional faculty, MFA student, and undergrad student works. She toured with University of Iowa's Dancers in Company along with traveling to perform at ACDA, the American Dance Guild, and Hollins University. While she was in school, she began seriously teaching and did an independent study in higher level education dance pedagogy as well as a mentorship program with the University of Iowa Youth Ballet. Now, she resides in the Twin Cities area and is a company member with Threads Dance Project and actively participates in project based work throughout the cities. She also is the co-director of the International ScreenDance Festival and is passionate about sharing art with people across the world. She continues to teach dance and enjoys coaching her students though challenges, because she loves watching them succeed.

Tatum LangCo-Founder/Instructor
Tatum Lang began dancing at the age of three in the small town of Waconia, Minnesota. Throughout her pre-teen and teen years, Tatum attended reputable summer intensive programs, including Joffrey Ballet School NYC, School of Ballet Arizona, and Kansas City Ballet School. Upon graduating high school, Tatum attended the University of Iowa from 2017 to 2021. During her time at UI, she performed in many student and faculty productions. She worked with reputable choreographers including: Shannon Alvis, Christopher Rasheem-McMillan, Eloy Barragan, Britt Juleen, and Armando Duarte. While in college, Tatum performed in the Iowa Dance Festival two years in a row, at the Harvest Contemporary Dance Festival in Chicago, and at Hollins University for Eloy Barragan’s Master’s Thesis “Ashes in the Air.” In 2021, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship. Following graduation, she promptly moved to Chicago to pursue a professional dance career. She is currently contracted with contemporary dance company, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre, and also freelances around the Chicago area. Tatum is an avid educator with over 7 years of teaching experience. She is extremely passionate about sharing her love for technique and performance with her students, and strives to create a healthy and fun classroom environment where students can be their genuine selves as they pursue excellence.
